Wordpress aggiornato alla versione 2.7.1.
Troverete qualche differenza nell’interfaccia, ma le funzioni sono le stesse di prima.
Please, se riscontrate problemi, tipo pagine inesistenti prendete nota.
Servirebbe poi un restyling del template, per ora solo invertito dal nero al bianco: chi si fa avanti?
L’uploader delle immagini che prima creava problemi dovrebbe ora funzionare.

Ciao a tutti, traduco l’ultimo post in italiano.
I video caricati sul nostro Youtube account non vengono visualizzati automaticamente sul blog.
Infatti, questo sistema/automa/diavoleria tecnologica (caricamento in tempo reale delle immagini sul blog) funziona solo con il widget del nostro account flickr.
Per questo è a-normale che alle 03:02 di sabato notte, in attesa che TheDreamer un pò brillo passi alla finestra a bussarmi come sempre inseguito da una decina di donzelle di tutte le nazionalità, razze e religioni, dopo aver postato in inglese (02:47) ed aver trascorso 7 ore davanti ad un monitor radioattivo, ho pensato di tradurre il post in italiano, così avremo sempre disponibile un breve tutorial su come inserire i video dal nostro account youtube direttamente sul blog.
Let’s start:
Per aggiungere video nel box in fondo alla pagina:
- Aprire un nuovo post sul blog
- Prendere la stringa del nostro video youtube (a noi interessa solo la parte in grassetto, ma per comodità la si può incollare nel post e poi eliminare il superfluo)

- Ripulire quindi (come già detto) la stringa fino a lasciare solo un codice simile a questo:

Questa in grassetto deve essere l’unica cosa presente nel nostro post, non aggiungere altro poichè creerebbe problemi di visualizzazione al layout del video nel box del blog.
- Copiare ora il codice che abbiamo ottenuto (quello in grassetto) e scrollare la pagina del nuovo post giù fino al box “Custom Field” (come fai a leggere ora se se hai scrollato?)
- Nel custom field selezionare “video” dal menù a discesa e poi incollare il codice ottenuto prima (sempre lo stesso in grassetto) nel campo “value” – lasciare il campo “key” vuoto
- Scrollare di nuovo sopra ed inserire tra i tags: Video, video, videos oltre a quelli che descrivono il vostro stato d’animo
- Salvare il post (pubblish), salvare il pianeta
Controllare se funziona. Il video apparirà nel post, ma soprattutto (ciò che ci interessa) nel box in basso alla pagina come numero 1. Gli altri video saranno visibili se cliccate 2, 3, 4, 5.

So, it is subnormal that at 02:47 on a saturday night, waiting for TheDreamer to come to ring at window, followed by loads of pretty girls, after having spent at least 6 hours in front of a radioactive monitor, i have thinked to post a quick tutorial/how-to on “how to insert youtube video in the blog page”.
So, let’s start:
To add video from our youtube account in the box at the bottom of the page:
- Take the string in bold from your “embedding code” stolen by youtube

- I meant clean it till obtaining somethin like this: http://www.you….be.com/v/9Kg1QQNc92o&hl=it (don’t add anything else in the post except that clean code)
- Copy what You obtained and scroll down the new post page until the “Custom Field” box
- In the custom field box (how can You read this if you scrolled down?) selct video form the menu and paste that code in the “Value” Field ( yes, that code you obtained , always the same http://www.you….be.com/v/9Kg1QQNc92o&hl=it)
- Leave the “key” field empty
- Then scroll up again and insert the tags: Video, video, videos and other You feel happy to insert
- Save the post and Save the planet
- Please, go and check if it works… fine…

i just implemented an Ajax Chat on http://www.lifeproject107.com/chat/ I couldn’t tested the server (very cheap server) capability (with few users logged)
24sides members are welcome to login. After You login You can choose between two channels:
We should (should) only speak about new media art and conspiring about doing artistical operations, please don’t waste Your time on the chat for normal conversation (exams are near, no noise, please – help to create a channel where we can really speak about new media art possibilities).
For anyone interested in logging contact me through the mailing list, or any other phisycal way.
Instead of logging everyday lookin for someone to chat with, we could think to get a monthly date for a fixed meeting, where everyone can speak about collective or individual projects.

Mi sono permesso di aggiungere un plugin.
Perché: il sito twentyfoursides.org era già tracciato da analytics ma solo relativamente alla prima pagina (index).
Senza plugin i visitatori che approdavano sul blog di 24sides senza passare per la prima pagina non venivano tracciati da google.
Con il plugin si. Visto che il blog ha già attirato curiosi visitatori alla ricerca del ticket per Offf lisbon (v. thread ticket sold out http://www.twentyfoursides.org/24blog/?p=18), vediamo se riusciamo a superare la media delle attuali 150 visite mensili.
